Bosch flat wood bits are designed for general use in wood. They are especially easy to use in hand-held drills. The Self Cut drill bit has a self-cutting threaded point and optimised cutting geometry, it pulls itself into wood until it breaks through. The Self Cut drill bit with side spurs offers up to 3 times longer life and double cutting speed compared to a standard flat wood bits. Re-sharpening presents no difficulty.
